An Introduction. Why We Are Here

Hello.

Welcome.

First off, we are happy that you are looking at this page.

You must be asking "what is it?"

Well... I'll tell you.

Connect is the young adult ministry of Magalia Pines Baptist Church in Magalia, Ca. We are here to help others along in their relationship with Christ. We are here to help build a community. Not just any community but the church as it should be. People coming together from many different walks of life for the simple purpose of loving God, and loving others.

Our mission statement is as follows.

Our mission is to make known the gospel of Jesus Christ, to disciple one another in the Word of God, to join together in worship, study, and fellowship, and to minister to our community through witnessing and service.

Our four points of focus are on:

-evangelism
-discipleship
-worship
-service

What that all means is that as we grow closer to God (through study, through serving others, through worship) we desire to share the story. We hope you will join ours as we seek our Lord more closely.
